

Caliberia Wine Company
At the helm of Caliberia Wine Company is Luis Moya, a certified Sommelier with almost 25 years of experience in the food and wine industry. Luis got his start in wine at the renowned Windows on the World restaurant in 1996 and continued on to join the Tempranillo Imports and Distribution team in New York as a specialist in Spanish wine sales. In 2004, Luis moved to San Francisco and started his own importing and distribution business; Vinos Unico, which became a leader in the SF Bay Area in Iberian wine. While building Vinos Unico, he also became a producer of Californian wines under the label Urbanite Cellars. In 2012, Luis returned to New York to focus on developing the NY market once again. He first managed a portfolio of Spanish wines for Frontier Imports, then returning to Tempranillo Inc as a partner to work with a small selection of brands. In 2021 he returned to San Francisco to start Caliberia Wine Company with a focus on wines from the Iberian Peninsula and California.
